I am proud to be counted a Jewish colonialist. I have lived in Beit aryeh -Ofarim since 1998. Beit Aryeh is 8 kms from Ben Gurion Airport ( as the crow flies) on the same elevation as Jerusalem. On a clear day you can see smoke stacks of the Rotherberg Electricity Power Station south of Ashkelon and the Hadera Power Station in the North. Beit Aryeh was founded in 1967 and with Ofarim ( voted to merge in 2000) it has 6200 citizen of Zion. Ofarim was founded in 1987 and has the largest land allocation of any Jewish Town in the Shomron. The land allocation expends all the way through the Green Line to the outskirts of Shoham Industrial Area.
Some reflections from an unapologetic Rip Roaring Zionist, an Urban Scavenger for the unexpected. Stephen Darori (#stephendarori,@stephendarori) is a Finance and Marketing Whiz,Social Media Publicist, Strategist ,Investor. Journalist,Author, Editor & Prolific Blogger.
