1992 vs. 2016: These photos show how far we’ve come since Hillary Clinton campaigned for her husband. She filed Bill Clinton’s papers to run for president in 1991—25 years before filing her own. Twenty-five years ago, Hillary Clinton stopped by the New Hampshire state house to file the paperwork to run for president—on behalf of her husband, Bill Clinton. She couldn’t have imagined at the time that one day she’d return to that same state house to file her own.

A lot has changed in the past two and a half decades. But the things we’re fighting for remain the same.

Stronger Together is not just a lesson from our history. It's not just a slogan for our campaign. It's a guiding principle for the country we've always been and the future we're going to build. A country where the economy works for everyone, not just those at the top. Where you can get a good job and send your kids to a good school, no matter what zip code you live in. A country where all our children can dream, and those dreams are within reach. Where families are strong, communities are safe.
