God Save America from Donald Trump.... Short List the Republican Party is Against in 2016 ( so far)  and they are still giving anti Semites like David duke the time of day ...A Handy List of All the Things the Republican Party Is Against in 2016....Weed, porn, and prairie chickens, to name a few.

The Republican Party has always been against things. In Lincoln's day, it was slavery; for the last seven years, it's been a functioning federal government. But the Republican Party Platform, rewritten every four years before the party convention, is where things really run wild. That's especially true this year, as presumptive nominee Donald J. Trump has stepped back to let the Ted Cruz-esque purists have their fun with the party's official statement of principles. What follows is a list, likely non-comprehensive, of the things the GOP has declared itself against so far.

(Keep in mind, these are initiatives that have passed the platform subcommittees and are awaiting approval as a collective.)

Weed

Even the medical kind. Among other reasons, ganja was linked to mass shootings (!):

Gay marriage

A subcommittee backed a constitutional amendment to overturn the Supreme Court's 2015 Obergfell v. Hodges decision. This was actually a softened stance from the previous iteration, which called for a constitutional amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman. The takeaway: Leave it to the states.

Gay parenthood

An amendment to the platform that said "a loving and stable home" was the best place for a child to grow up was defeated. The language continues to read that a home with a "mother and father" is best to raise a child. Annie Dickerson, a platform delegate and aide to gay Republican megadonor Paul Singer, interpreted the language as anti-gay adoption.

Being gay, basically

Also, the committee refused to recognize that LGBT people have been victims of ISIS:

Borders without walls

Bathroom choice

The Obama administration's rule advising schools to allow students to use the bathroom of their gender identity was condemned as "illegal and dangerous" and "alien to America's history and traditions."

Donald Trump's trade protectionism

A subcommittee rejected language that condemned the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

Porn

"The internet must not become a safe haven for predators. Pornography, with its harmful effects, especially on children, has become a public health crisis that is destroying the life of millions. We encourage states to continue to fight this public menace and pledge our commitment to children's safety and well-being. We applaud the social networking sites that bar sex offenders from participation. We urge energetic prosecution of child pornography which closely linked to human trafficking."
Apparently, all porn = child porn.

Abortion

With no exceptions for rape or incest.

Unmarried couples (even straight ones!) living together

"The dark view of the individual as human capital"

OK, then.

The IRS

Electromagnetic pulse attacks

Grey wolves

Federally owned national parks

An amendment demands the feds give public lands back to the states, which certainly would go well.

Prairie chickens and sage grouses

An amendment passed that opposed adding prairie chickens and sage grouses to the endangered species list.
